The Ronald McDonald House is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children undergoing critical medical treatment in our area hospitals. A two-minute walk from Schneider Children's Hospital and provides a comfortable and supportive environment, helping families through their most difficult time. They need our help!
On 12/9/07, we will cruise to the Ronald McDonald House. The plans are to meet at Captree (usual Sunday arrival and hangout) and/or Hall of Science (arrive before 9:30 am and hang out until 11:00 am) and leave to start cruise at 11:00 am to arrive at the house by 12:00 noon. The only unconfirmed detail at this point is where the Hall of Science group will meet with the Captree group. If others want to leave from Panera Bread in Wantagh, then contact Dimitri and he will coordinate a location to meet off the Meadowbrook or Wantagh Parkways.

Thanks to all members that came out and supported this event. It is nice to see that together we can make a difference to those who are less fortunate and are facing difficult times. Attached is the letter we received on behalf of all that participated in the holiday cruise.
